# Video Popup

## **How to Create a Video Popup Campaign With Optinly?** <a href="#how-to-create-a-video-popup-campaign-with-optinly" id="how-to-create-a-video-popup-campaign-with-optinly"></a>

You can easily grab the attention of your site visitors and provide valuable insights to them with help of video popups.

Let's look at how you can create a video popup in Optinly.

**Step 1:** Once you have installed and activated Optinly, you’ll be taken to the welcome screen. Click **“Add New Campaign”** on your screen or the **“Click Campaign”** option found on the top right corner of your screen.

**Step 2:** When clicked, give a name for your popup campaign and choose an appropriate marketing goal.

When done, click **“Create”** at the bottom of the window to proceed.

**Step 3:** You’ll be headed to Optinly’s popup gallery where you get to choose from a wide range of responsive, predesigned templates.

Click the **“Video Popup”** tab and simply hover over a popup template. Click “**Use Template**” to start using it.

**Step 4:** Once when clicked, you’ll be taken to the popup display rules/triggering options window. This is where you’ll be tweaking your popup display options. You can also have a sample preview of your chosen popup template.

After, setting up the popup display rules, you can go ahead and "**customize"** button go to the video popup configuration.

**Step 5:** Optinly allows you to embed videos from **YouTube** and **Vimeo** inside the popup templates.

In case, if you have selected the 'Video Inetgartion Popup' you can **choose** **a preferred video source** and **enter the video ID**.

In case, if you have selected the 'Commercial Video Popup' you can **enter the source file URL** and **click on "Apply".**

Also, you can find the video configuration controls there.

Once finished, click “**Save Template**” and then click “**Go Back to Settings**”**.**

**Step 6:** It’s almost done. You’ve already set the popup triggering options. All you have to do is check once and click the “**Save & Set Live**” button.

You’ll see a success message as shown below.
